The fifth Annual Carl and Shirley Stuckless Memorial
Dart Tournament was held April I at the Lucan Legion.
The Stuckless family thanks all those who participated.
Thanks go to all the people who donated prizes and a
special thank you to the Lucan Legion for the use of their
hall and their donation of $500. The family is pleased to
donate a total of $ 1,29 1 to the Canadian Cancer Society.

At the annual year end banquet for the Exeter Skating Club March 27 the fol-
lowing skaters were recognized for giving of their time and talent to other
skaters.The PA coaches work closely with the club professional coaches in
assisting them with teaching and strengthening the skills of younger skaters.
Most recently, these young people worked hard preparing for the recent skat-
ing carnival to ensure the groups of skaters had a successful program to pre-
sent the day of the carnival. Back from left:Will Kwajafa, Mackenzie

Novice Girls
champions
LUCAN — March 31 in St.
Thomas, the Lucan Irish
Novice Girls defeated St.
Thomas three games to one
to win the SWGHL (South
Western Girls Hockey
League) Novice
Championship.
Lucan reached the finals by
sweeping Woodstock in three
straight games in the semi-
finals.
The Novice girls will now
be heading to the (OWHA)
Provincial championships in
Toronto this weekend.
Their first game will be
against Brampton Friday
morning.
An event which has happened only six times in the 45
year history of the Exeter Curling Club occurred recently
with an 8 ender at the last game of the Friday Night Social
at the club. Pictured are from left, Skip Cathy Cade
Frayne, Vice Conrad Sitter, Second Carolyn Johns and
Lead Cathy Hugill.The winners of the last draw for Friday
Night Social were, first with 56 points -Cathy Cade Frayne,
second with 54 points -Ken Oke and Conrad Sitter and
Janet Mathers who were tied for third with 5 I points.
