Mount Carmel Idol brought several students to the stage, singing, dancing, doing gymnastics and more. Several members of the Exeter and area community attended the event, which included a tour of the back of the Exeter Canada Post building. Items were also for sale and coffee and cake were served. (photo/Nina Van Lieshout) POLICE BRIEF BUSINESS OWNERS BEWARE EXETER — On March 16 two males attended a business in Exeter and approached the cashier to purchase items providing a $50 bill for pay- ment. The males began conversation with the cashier, distracting her. The males asked for different change several times. They saw the cashier had a $100 bill in the till and requested if they could have it instead of smaller bills. The exchange was completed and the males left the business. The males distracted and confused the cashier, stealing $150. Owners and employees should be beware of quick -change artists. On March 20th Dashwood's Men's Club opened its annual Father and Child Night to the commu- nity. Over 100 children enjoyed a din- ner of pizza, salad and ice cream followed by a magic show by Ricky Magic.
