Mount Carmel Idol
Our Lady of Mount Carmel School held its annual talent show March 24. Mount Carmel
Idol brought several students to the stage, singing, dancing, doing gymnastics and more.

The Exeter Canada Post branch held its Stamp Coil Cutting Celebration
March 23 commemorating their new renovations. Several members of
the Exeter and area community attended the event, which included a
tour of the back of the Exeter Canada Post building. Items were also for
sale and coffee and cake were served. From left are Exeter clerk Cathy
Beal, Exeter lead hand Pam DeJong, South Huron Coun. George
Robertson, Exeter clerk Melanie Thomson, Sarnia and Stratford local
area manager Jackie Valotaire, Exeter clerk Ron Kenney and Exeter clerk
Sherry Craig.The counter area is completely redone, including new
counters, paint and an additional computer terminal.There are also
changes to the postal box lobby which is reduced in size by approxi-
mately 50 per cent.This allows expansion of the retail area by about two
metres.This is the first major renovation for the building since opening

BUSINESS OWNERS BEWARE
EXETER — On March 16 two males attended a business in Exeter and
approached the cashier to purchase items providing a $50 bill for pay-
ment. The males began conversation with the cashier, distracting her. The
males asked for different change several times. They saw the cashier had a
$100 bill in the till and requested if they could have it instead of smaller
bills. The exchange was completed and the males left the business. The
males distracted and confused the cashier, stealing $150. Owners and
employees should be beware of quick -change artists.
