March Break activities keep Exeter and area kids busy
Bingo was provided at the South Recreation Centre March 15 for children 10 and
under. Over 100 children participated in the event which was hosted by the
Exeter Legion Ladies Auxiliary. New Orleans Pizza donated a pizza for the young-
sters and Hansen's Your Independent Grocer, the Exeter Lions Club and Memory
Lane in Zurich provided prizes.Above from left are eight-year-old Sammy Reymer

Quilts and Calicos held a week long program for kids called "Kids Learn to Sew".
Seven participants joined the class, making several paper and fabric items, including
Christmas decorations, pin cushions, earring cases, greeting cards, notion bags and
more.The class was geared towards children eight and up and included a nutri-
tious snack for the kids.Above front from left are Maggie McDonnell, Jordan

A Ringette Bunny Fun Day was held March 16 at the
South Huron Recreation Centre. Exeter and District
Ringette played teams from St. Marys, Goderich and
Seaforth. This is the fifth year for the event and the first
year for the three -on -three event March 16. Exeter

The South Huron Recreation Centre held skating March 13, 15 and 17. Ice time
was donated by the Exeter Masonic Lodge and The Order of the Eastern Star.
Above from left are eight-year-old Michael Hartai and Laurie with sons four-year-
old Harrison and eight-year-old Hayden Bowman. Several people came out for the
public skating. Organizers were pleased with the attendance.

The Exeter Library hosted crafts for kids March 15, 16 and 17. Children were able
to make and take home a different craft each day.Above from left are three-year-
