Exeter basketball champs Pot luck supper inVarna
The Exeter Public School boys and girls basketball teams participated in
a tournament Feb. 23 at South Huron District High School.The girls
earned the title of B Champs, the boys won A Champs.Above front

THE LAST RECIPE FOR THE BREAKFAST FEATURES I HAVE BEEN
RUNNING ISA MUST TRY!! I RECENTLY SERVED IT UP AT A
LIGHT BREAKFAST EVENT FOR A GROUP OF PEOPLE AND THE
HINT OF ALMOND, CRANBERRY, RAISIN AND NUT KEPT
PEOPLE GUESSING. IT WAS ONE OF THOSE RECIPES THAT YOU
HAVE PEOPLE ASKING FOR THE RECIPE. HELEN AND FAYE
THIS IS FOR YOU!
CRANBERRY COFFEE CAKE
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup pecans or walnuts
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1 cup flour
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp almond extract
3/4 cup melted butter
Preheat oven to 350. Cover bottom of a lightly greased deep
dish 10 inch pie plate with the sugar, nuts, raisins and
cranberries. Mix flour, sugar, eggs, almond extract and butter
together in a bowl. Pour mixture into pie plate over the other
ingredients. Bake 35 minutes or 'Ma fork comes out clean.
Cool slightly and then invert on a serving dish. Sprinkle with
icing sugar if desired. Serve warm or cold. Wonderful!!
POLICE BRIEF
Burnt snowmobile found
BLUEWATER — Sometime between Feb. 27 and
Feb. 28 an abandoned snowmobile was found on
Bannockburn Line in Bluewater Township. The snow-
mobile was burnt beyond recognition. The few rem-
nants left indicate the item was a Ski Doo.
Several break and enters
in Bayfield area
BAYFIELD — Between Feb. 26 and March 5 nine sea-
sonal campsites at Sugar Bush Campground in
Bluewater Township had their sheds broken into. Items
stolen from the sheds are undetermined.
