New cow buyers
influence prices
DENFIELD - The market at Denfield livestock
sales traded on a good demand with prices show-
ing some improvement with Fancy cattle in good
demand at strong prices. A good offering of cows
traded very strong at prices $2-4 higher partly due
to two new cow buyers. Stockers sold fully steady
and Holstein bull calves strong.
Ross Duff, Croton sold 11 steers average weight
1468 average price 96.76 to a high of 98.50 pur-
chased by Norwich Packers.
Todd Charlton, Denfield sold eight heifers aver-
age weight 1311 average price 95.34 sales to
96.75.
Bill Woodburn, Parkhill sold 12 steers average
weight 1523 average price 94.61 to a high of 96.
Morley Hodgins, Parkhill sold 12 steers average
weight 1458 average price 93.91.
