Bluewater Mayor Bill Dowson received a total of $25,324.73, with a $7,140 honorarium, a $15,240.33 per diem, convention expens- es of $2,255.40 and mileage of $689. Deputy Mayor Paul Klopp received $13,184.61, with a $5,610 honorarium, a per diem of $5,632.63, conven- tion expenses of $1,834.98, and mileage of $107. Coun. John Becker received $10,931.47, with a $5,100 honorarium, a per diem of $5,831.47 and zero conven- tion and mileage expenses. Coun. Marg Deichert received $12,038.51, with a $5,100 honorarium, a per diem of $6,039.07, conven- tion expenses of $899.44, and zero mileage. Coun. Jim Fergusson's expenses totalled $13,577.68, with a $5,100 honorarium, a $6,317.47 per diem, conven- tion expenses of $1,788.41, and mileage of $371.80. Coun. George Irvin had a total of $12,918.06 expenses with a $5,100 honorarium, a per diem of $5,364.67, con- vention expenses of $2,296.04 and mileage of $157.35. Coun. Dave Johnson had a total of $1,555.50 in expenses with an honorarium of $637.50, a per diem of $918 and zero mileage and con- vention expenses. Coun. Bill MacDougall had expenses of $12,736.27, with an honorarium of $5,100, a per diem of $8,823.07, con- vention expenses of $2,000, and mileage of $124.60. Coun. Bill Martin had expenses of $16,715.82, with a per diem of $5,100 and an honorarium of $8,823.07, convention expenses of $2,000, and mileage of $792.75. Former Coun. Josh McClinchey had expenses totalling $8,826.12, with an honorarium of $2,975, a per diem of $4,543.87, conven- tion expenses of $1,307.25 and zero mileage. Coun. Rod Parker had expenses of $11,863.06 with a $5,100 honorarium, a per diem of $5,187.07, conven- tion expenses of $1,575.99 and zero mileage. Community shows interest in patrol By Nina Van Lieshout TIMES -ADVOCATE STAFF LUCAN — A brief Lucan Biddulph meeting was held Monday night. Coun. Paul Hodgins had an update on the first citizens on patrol meeting held Feb. 25. Hodgins was impressed with the turnout, saying he thought it was "awesome." Several people showed up with enthusiasm for this new project. Hodgins says he was pleased to see the younger generation participate. The group will officially begin its patrols next month, possibly towards the end of April. Hodgins is hoping to get about 30 people to join the group. A cell phone will be kept at the Tim Hortons in Lucan for the citizens on patrol. The group is also planning to patrol Granton. Fanshawe project Deputy Mayor Perry Caskanette updated council on where the Lucan Biddulph economic development com- mittee stands with its Fanshawe College project decision. Caskanette says the com- mittee met this past week, narrowing the 72 entries received by Fanshawe College third year graphic design students to 10. A meeting March 22 will break the remaining 10 entries down to five. A meeting will then be held to rank about three or four entries. The students were to com- plete projects in response to how they would promote the municipality with a $30,000 budget. The contest winners will be chosen by the end of the month. First place receives $750. Addition request A request from Jeff Roestenberg of Roestenberg Welding on Highway 7 asks council to allow a 40x60 foot addition for storage on his warehouse. Public works manager Barry Mills is recommending council not enforce site plan control. He says the business meets all site provisions. Canada Day celebration Council is looking to book a Canada Day celebration for the community June 30 at the Granton Park. Fireworks will cost about $5,000, the same as last year. De Jong representing Canada Post LONDON — Exeter Post Office lead hand Pam De Jong will represent Canada Post at an on -ice cere- mony at the March 10 London Knights - Owen Sound Attack Ontario Hockey League game in London. De Jong will congratulate Knights goalie Adam Dennis who is the seg- ment two win- ner of the Canada Post Cup for the Ontario Hockey League's Midwest Division. Canada Post is the sponsor of the Canada Post Cup Three Stars program for the 2 0 0 5- 0 6 Canadian Hockey League (CHL) season. Throughout the season, the three stars of each game in each of the divi- sions in the three leagues under the CHL banner receive points towards the Canada Post Cup. Canada Post will donate $100 on behalf of Dennis to the Ontario Hockey League's educa- tion fund. The overall winners from the Quebec, Ontario and Western leagues will be recog- nized at the CHL Awards ceremo- ny during the Memorial Cup in St. John, NB.
