SHE SAID IT WAS THE BEST BANANA MUFFIN RECIPE SHE HAD EVER HAD. I MADE IT VERY SOON THEREAFTER, BECAUSE BANANA MUFFINS AND I REALLY LIKE EACH OTHER, AND I MUST AGREE IT IS ONE OF THE BEST! IT IS MOIST AND A GOOD KEEPER. TRY THIS ONE OUT SOON! AMAZING BANANA MUFFINS I cup mashed banana I cup brown sugar or white 1 cup miracle whip 2 cups flour 2 tsp baking powder I tsp. baking soda I cup milk chocolate chips I tsp. vanilla Combine all ingredients just until blended. Drop mixture into muffin wrappers in muffin pan. Bake at 350 deg. F for 20 minutes. If possible, try to wait to eat until you are sure the muffins won't burn your mouth then listen for the "mmmmm, these are such good muffins!" Interdenominational youth service a success By Muriel Lewis GRANTON CORRESPONDENT GRANTON - At the Granton -Wesley United Church on Sun., Feb. 19 Pastor Paul Vollick led the service and the mes- sage was entitled "Friendship". The lessons were from Isaiah 43 and Mark 2. Adam Dodds lit the Christ can- dle and Andrew Herbert gave the Minute for Missions. The Ministry of Music was entitled "Just a closer walk with Thee". The World Day of Prayer service is to be held at the Living Hope Church in Lucan at 7:30 p.m. on March 3. The Euchre Night was quite successful at the Granton -Wesley United Church on Fri., Feb. 17 even though it was stormy most of the day. At St. Paul's Anglican Church in Kirkton on Sun., Feb. 19 Rev. Elisabeth Geertsma of Mitchell celebrated the Holy Eucharist. The mes- sage was about drawing strength from times of hardship. Jill Schaus read the lessons. After the service, some of the congregation attended the Interdenominational Youth Service held at the Kirkton Woodham Community Centre, cele- brating the Boy Scout and Girl Guide move- ments. It was led by Bill Denham with others par- ticipating and was well - attended. The collection was in aid of drilling a well in Africa. A hot dog and chili lunch was served by the Pathfinders to help fmance their trip to Mexico. Later, the group visited the Arva Flour Mills and learned all about the dif- ferent flour mixtures and information regarding the many products which are sold there.
