CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT PROPOSALS
BLUE WATER LTC
Proposed 65 -bed Long Term Care Facility
Redevelopment
Zurich, Ontario
The existing 65 -bed facility is to be redeveloped into
two resident home areas, one new RHA with 32
beds, and the renovated RHA with 33 beds; for a
total of 65 beds, including common and service
spaces.
The construction schedule is 21 months, with an
expected August 2006 start date. Construction is to
be sequenced in three phases to allow the facility to
remain fully operational throughout.
The construction budget is $5,638,000.
Construction Management firms interested in this
project, are invited to submit a detailed proposal of
their services and a fee proposal for review by the
Blue Water Board.

Assault
charges
EXETER - Huron OPP
responded to a noise com-
plaint on Sanders Street
in Exeter Feb. 1. The
police attended a resi-
dence and spoke to the
owner requesting the
music be turned down.
The owner became irate
and aggressive, threaten-
ing the safety of the offi-
cer. A 43 -year-old man of
Exeter was arrested and
attends Exeter Provincial
Court on March 23. He
faces two counts of
assaulting a peace officer
and one count of resisting
a peace officer.
