On Sat., Jan. 7, the Festival will begin booking orders online, by phone, by fax and in person. The phone lines at the Festival's Call Centre will open at 9 a.m. on Sat., Jan. 7. Online sales at www.stratfordfestival. ca begin nine hours earlier, at midnight. Buying online is an increasingly popular way for patrons to book their visits to the Festival; sales through the web site during the Members' booking period were 40 per cent higher than online sales in the same period last year. The plays in the Stratford Festival's 2006 season are Coriolanus, Oliver!, Much Ado About Nothing, Twelfth Night, The Glass Menagerie, London Assurance, South Pacific, Don Juan, Henry IV, Part 1, The Duchess of Malfi, Ghosts, Harlem Duet, The Blonde, the Brunette and the Vengeful Redhead, Fanny Kemble and The Liar. The Stratford Festival Call Centre can be reached at 1-800-567-1600 and is open Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with additional hours on Sun., Jan. 8 (remaining open until 5 p.m.) The box office is also open for in-person sales (at the main Ticket Office, in the Festival Theatre at 55 Queen Street, Stratford) during Call Centre hours. Take a bus ride on Friday, February 3rd, 2006 retracing history by taking the same route the Vigilantes Committee took on the night of the Donnelly Massacre on February 3rd, 1880. The first bus leaves the Lucan Community Centre at 8:00 p.m. and buses run every half hour with the last bus leaving at 1:30 a.m. The route takes approximately one hour and a guided host will explain the route and answer any questions you may have about that horrific night 126 years ago. He was adopted, but his family had to return him due to allergies. Marlow is very cute and very, very active. He gets along really well with other cats.
