Choice steers and heifers sold 102 to 107 sales to 110.75, second cut steers and heifers sold 96 to 100. The cows sold a steady market to last week. Thursday The veal sold on a strong active trade at prices steady to last week. The lambs sold on an active market with prices slightly lower to last week. Friday Calves and yearlings sold steady to last week. Steers There were 641 steers on offer. Stanley Martin, Wallenstein con- signed two blue steers selling to Dominion Meat Packers for 110.50 averaging 1560 lbs. His total consignment of five steers averaged 1483 lbs selling for the average price of 104.55 Emerson L. Martin, Linwood consigned nine steers averaging 1441 lbs for 108.90. His top five steers sold to Dominion Meat Packers for 109 averaging 1503 lbs. Eleven steers consigned by Denfield market DENFIELD - The market at Denfield traded on a strong demand at fully steady prices on all classes of fed cattle with the American type cattle very active at fully steady prices and fancy cattle at premium prices. A good offer- ing of cows traded steady. Holstein bull calves traded strong, sows and boars steady. Bill and Mary Margaret McDonald, Thamesville sold five heifers average weight 1088 aver- age price 108.27 to a high of 112.50 purchased by Norwich Packers.
