EXETER — The
Canadian Access Program
(CAP) assists people with
their Internet and comput-
er skills.
CAP is a free service run
by the Canadian govern-
ment.
Central Huron student
Lisa Martin holds weekly
sessions at both the Exeter
and Kirkton library
branches.
Martin says the sessions
are e-mail based but
involve a lot of e-com-
merce, too.
"Basically we do what
they want to do on-line,"
says Martin.
Martin heard about the
sessions from her friend
Roz and wanted to get
involved.
"My friend Roz is work-
ing at the Clinton branch
doing CAP."
Martin says apart from
helping others she also
finds it an interesting
experience.
"I'm learning too, while
teaching people. Normally
I do stuff (on the comput-
er) and don't think about
it. It's more of a realiza-
tion of what I'm doing."
Exeter resident Marg
Kehn has attended the
one-on-one sessions a cou-
ple of times and says they
have been beneficial to
her.
Kehn plans on attending
the sessions every
