Ronald "Ron" Iles of Exeter in
his 90th year. Beloved husband
of the late Dorothy (Crawford)
Iles. Dear father of John Iles
(Julie) of Windsor and Peggy
Tinney (Jack) of Exeter. Special
grandfather of Sandra (McLeod)
Barbeau of Kapuskasing, Philip
McLeod of Abbotsford, B.C.
Shelley Hay of Hensall, Heather
Tinney of Exeter, Brad, Gary,
Bev and Mark Iles all of
Windsor. Survived by one sister
Jean (Iles) Judge of Owen
Sound. Also survived by several
grandchildren and his nieces.
Ron was a WWII Veteran. A
complete funeral service was
held at the Dinney Funeral
Home, Exeter on January 2,
2006. Bob Heywood officiated.
Interment in Exeter Cemetery.

MCTAVISH - Glenn
Murray `Sandy"
McTavish, 83, of
Shakespeare passed
away in the Maples
Home for Seniors, Tavistock on
December 31, 2005. He was
born in North Easthope
Township, Perth County on
April 8, 1922 a son of the late
Joseph and Jean (Taylor)
McTavish. Sandy served as a
pilot in the R.C.A.F. during
World War 11; he had been a
salesperson for Rolland Paper;
was a member of Shakespeare
Optimist Club; a member of
Exeter Memorial Branch #167
Royal Canadian Legion and the
Stratford Saturday Noon Hour
Club. He is survived by one
brother, Grant McTavish of
Mareeba, Queensland, Australia;
two sisters-in-law, Lillian
McTavish of Stratford, Dora
McTavish of Exeter; several
nieces and nephews and special
friends, the Oldershaw Family of
Toronto. He will be especially
missed by Murray McTavish
whose daily visit enabled him to
remain independent. He was
predeceased by two brothers,
Donald McTavish and Gordon
McTavish; his sister and brother-
in-law, Isabel and Harry Darrell.
Relatives and friends were
received in the Francis Funeral
Home, Tavistock where the
funeral service was held on
January 3, 2006. The Rev. Dr.
Jan McIntyre officiated.
Interment in St. Andrew's
Cemetery, North Easthope,
Shakespeare. As expressions of
sympathy, donations to the
Parkinson Society would be
appreciated and may be made
through the funeral home by call-

year. Beloved husband of

Judy Plantinga of Michigan City,

vived by 15 grandchildren and
14 great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by 5 brothers and 4
sisters. Friends called at the
Hopper Hockey Funeral Home
where the funeral service was
held on January 3, 2006. Pastor
Kevin Rutledge officiated.
Interment Exeter Cemetery.

1935 -2005. Died Tuesday,
December 27, 2005 in his 71st
year after a brief but courageous
struggle. Best friend and loving
husband of the late Carolyn Faye
Snell nee Neuman (1941-1998).
Loving and kind father and wise
counsellor to Timothy Edward
Snell. Loving and devoted son
of the late Charles Snell and
Hazel Snell nee Kestle. Loving
son-in-law of Ethel Kauffeldt
(Neuman) nee Weber and of the
late Frederick Neuman. Loving
brother to Ray Snell, Mary
Watson and Elizabeth Prouty.
Loving brother-in-law to Bette
Snell, Robert Watson, David
Prouty, Gary and Rosemary
Newman, Marline and Ray
Neuman. He will be fondly
remembered by many nieces and
nephews. A good friend and
faithful colleague to so many
from church, business, extended
family and all walks of life. A
man of faith, hope, charity, kind-
ness, patience and courage. He
lives in the joyous memories of
the many lives he has touched.

Dodger is a male 1-2 year old Pointer mix.
He is very good with other dogs
and is very friendly.
Dodger is very energetic and would be
best in a home with a fenced yard.
He would benefit from obedience training.

small children, cats or other small animals.
