On Dec. 29 a moose was spotted
travelling down the middle of Neil
Road outside of Lucan by the
Lamb family. Gail Lamb spotted the
moose first from her home. Lamb's
son Bruce and granddaughter Tori
were able to snap some shots of
the animal. Bruce drove while his
daughter took pictures.This photo
was taken on Neil Road at
Clandeboye Road. It is very rare to
see a Moose in Southern Ontario.
Moose, the largest member of the
deer family, are found mainly in
Northern Ontario.

PLAN H7-3-922 Charm of a Cottage Designed for a smaller or up-sloping lot, this 1_ -storey, three-bedroom home combines the charm of a cottage
with all the convenience a contemporary family requires. Up an angled flight of stairs is the covered entry. To the left of the foyer is a study with its own
covered deck that overlooks the front garden. A powder room and coat closet are nearby. The open-plan great room -kitchen -dining room is up a few
steps from the foyer. Sliding doors in the great room open onto an L-shaped sundeck. A three-way fireplace warms the great room and the dining
room, and also casts a glow onto the kitchen's raised eating bar, cleverly angled to maximize space. The kitchen, with an abundance of counter space
as well as a pantry, overlooks the back patio, as does the laundry room, which features two roomy cupboards for coats and off-season gear. The dining
room opens onto two covered decks — either would serve as the perfect spot for the barbecue. Tucked away at the back of the main floor for privacy
is the master suite, which includes an ensuite and generous walk-in closet. Two more bedrooms are on the second floor, reached via a U-shaped flight
of stairs. A bathroom is enclosed in a dormer space between the bedrooms, one of which features an extra -wide window sill. Exterior finishes include
wood siding, with river -rock accents and painted trim. Windows are partly mullioned. An unfinished basement is included with the plans.
This home is 44 feet wide and 55 feet, six inches deep, for a total of 2077 square feet. Plans for design H7-3-922 are available for $636 (set of 5),
