Dear Santa
Jayden has been a good
boy all year. He is asking
Santa for a train set, cars and
a playstation 2. Jayden thinks
Santa will like the cookies and
chocolate milk he is going to
leave for him. Jayden has
also asked that we buy Santa

Dear Santa Claus,
My name is Hannah. I go
to Hensall Public School.
My teacher Ms.
MacDonald has been good
this year. I am in 3rd
grade. My hair is brown
and I am a Highland
dancer. I have been good
this year.
How is Rudolph and the
other Reindeer? How are
the elves, and Mrs. Claus?
How is the weather at the
North Pole? I bet it is very
cold. How deep is the
snow?
The four things on my
Santa Claus list are: a
new pioneer dress, a slate
and 2 slate pencils, a
small C.D. player and any
Saddle Club book by
Bonnie Bryant. I hope you
can bring these things but
if not anything would be
great. Hope you have a
safe and Merry Christmas
love, Hannah Krebs.

My Christmas wish for the

also wish everyone had
food. I also wish there

I love to go visiting my
relatives and friends to
have a Christmas party. I
also love to open pre-
sents. But first we go eat
breakfast then we can
open presents. Sarah L's
family gets presents for
my family. Sarah L's mom
is friends with my mom
and dad. That is why
Sarah L's family gives

Jeff's
Christmas
Mike Dietrich
Grade 8
Zurich Public School
It was the Christmas of
2001 and there was a boy
named Jeff. Jeff loved
Christmas. He even
counted down the days
until Christmas. Every
day he told his parents he
wanted a 4 -wheel drive
remote control truck. His
brothers and sisters
always teased and said he
was bad all year and
wouldn't get any pre-
sents. Jeff knew that he
had kept his grades up in
school and had been good
at home by helping out
with stuff.
It was Christmas Eve
and Jeff couldn't sleep at
all. All he could think
about was getting that
remote control truck.
Then he got out of bed to
get a drink of water but
realized that Santa hadn't
come yet. He knew it was
because he wasn't sleep-
ing so he went back to
bed and fell right to sleep.
Then he woke up again
and it was morning. So he
got out of bed and woke
everyone up in the house
and ran to the Christmas
tree. He then started
opening the biggest pre-
sent there and he knew it
was the remote control
truck. But he got all the
wrapping paper off and
realized that is wasn't the
right one he wanted. He
was so angry that he said
he hated Christmas. Jeff
loved Christmas and that
is not like him to say that.
So then hid dad sat him
down and told him that in
some countries they don't
even get Christmas pre-
sents.
Then Jeff got thinking
that getting no Christmas
presents would suck, so
he got a bunch of his old
toys and donated them to
poor people.
