Ho! Ho! For singing beautiful car- ols at the church, For chocolate milk and chewy cookies on the kitchen counter, And then I'll know it's Christmas. I'm waiting for Christmas to come, For loud silver bells, For perfect presents under the prettiest tree, For the joy of the Sunday School play, For rowdy noises on the rooftop, And then I'll know it's Christmas. I'm waiting for Christmas to come, For seeing strange rein- deer tracks, For our tasty Christmas dinner, For the tiny snowflakes falling, For the exciting Christmas concert, And then I'll know it's Christmas Christmas wish Mykayla Turner Grade 2 Grand Bend Public School My Christmas wish for the world, is that we all live in peace. My second Christmas wish for the world, is that everyone will have enough food and water. My third Christmas wish for the world, is that everyone will always have joy in their heart. Dear Santa Kate Otterbein Kindergarten Huron Centennial Dear Santa: How have you been? I have been nice and good. For Christmas, I would like a big Barbie doll house, a toy horse head that you put makeup on, and a swing that you put babies in. Holiday Cheer Our holiday best to you and yours. Thank you for your patronage. R.J.B. Plumbing and Heating Ron, Pam, Kyle, Emily & Robyn 235-2418 Mom's Christmas Breakfast Jeff Rundle Grade 7/8 Usborne School It's 8:00 on Christmas morning, my mom is call- ing me to come down- stairs reminding me not to look in the family room. As I'm running down the stairs I get the feeling of relief and joy. I feel relieved that Christmas is fmally here. Joy comes from the assurance of a good breakfast, lots of candy in the stocking and great presents under the tree. When I start to run down the stairs my feet thump on each step and my hand runs against the wall. Right behind me is my brother making a big- ger thump and telling me to run faster. As I'm at the very last steps I smell my Mom's night before Christmas eggs. It's made of eggs, cheese, bacon and a few onions all put together in a pan. I rush down to get the first bite. As I'm at the bottom of the stairs I smell the scent of the pine Christmas tree. I turn to the left and go into the kitchen where my mom gives my a hug and says Merry Christmas!! This year I would like Mickey Mouse, Elmo and Dragon Tales. I really like Christmas because I like the Christmas lights and playing with my cousins. I especially like baking Christmas cookies. I asked if we could make Jesus a birthday cake too. I made you some cook- ies but my Daddy ate them all so we have to make some more. Thank you for all my presents last year.
