Huron County multiple myeloma patients and their caregivers travelled to Queen's Park
Nov. 28 to be guests in the Members Gallery to hear Huron -Bruce MPP Carol Mitchell
read their petition in the Legislature regarding accessibility through OHIP to the new

Music therapist enjoyed at Queensway
HENSALL —
Lisa Stewart,
music therepist
at Queensway
worked with
several residents
Monday morn-
ing both individ-
ually and in her
small group. At
lunch, Lisa then
treated everyone
to Christmas
music as she
played the piano
throughout the
meal. In the
afternoon the
Bethel Reform
women facilitat-
ed their last
bingo for the
month.
The eight
breakfast group
attendees
enjoyed a deli-
cious meal
Tuesday morn-
ing, prepared
while they
watched.
Volunteer I illian
Beer assisted at
the weekly
event. Pastor
Elly Van Bergen
led worship
Tuesday after-
noon with Belva
Fuss as volun-
teer pianist.
Wednesday
morning resi-
dents gathered
in the sunroom
for their thrice
weekly exercise
program. The
physical work-
out followed by a
mental workout
made up of
quizzes and
games makes
for a stimulating
program.
Coffee & news
group took place
Thursday morn-
ing with every-
one perusing
several weekly
papers as well
as the daily
London Free
Press. In the
afternoon mani-
cures were done
for several ladies
in the sunroom.
Friday after-
noon the deli-
cious scents of
fresh baking
wafted down the
halls where the
baking club was
working. All in
attendance par-
ticularly liked
the taste testing.
