The angels most cer-
tainly did "Descend" in
Goshen United Church
this past weekend with
more than 400 angels of
all sizes and sorts on dis-
play along with some real
angels working in the
kitchen serving refresh-
ments and of course angel
food cake. The event was
a pronounced success!
Sunday afternoons view-
ing was enhanced by
notes of heavenly music
provided by Lorelei
Lingard on the piano ,
accompanied at times in
song by her dad, John
Robinson. Many thanks
to Lorelei, John, Helen
Keys and Linda Linfield.
Thanks also to all of Elly's
help, the behind the scene
workers and especially
for the angels on loan.
Pastor Elly remarked that
the best comment she
hear regarding the angels
came from a senior gen-
tleman who, along with
his wife arrived at the end
as everyone was packing
up their angels. Pastor
Elly commented that he
had arrived too late to see
all the angels, only to
state "That's alright I
don't need to see any
angels, I married one".
As a footnote he married
his angel over 60 years
ago.
