The goal of this membership based organzation is to promote the area and the Chamber mem-
bers' businesses. We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals who are self- starters
for the following positions:
Chamber Office Manager
Under direction of the Chamber Executive, this individual shall be responsible for the day to
day running of the Chamber office in Grand Bend. The successful candidate will have a secre-
tarial/administrative background and be computer literate. This position entails answering tele-
phone, email and in person enquiries from the public and the membership, updating and main-
taining the website, compiling local tourism information, promoting benefits of membership to
non-members, invoicing members for annual dues, training and supervising volunteers and
summer student, organizing and attending meetings. Some weekend and evening work is
required.

Pay Range $8.50-$10.00 per hour

Marketing/Sales Co -Ordinator
Contract Position
The successful candidate shall have a background in sales and/or marketing, with the ability to
develop a marketing plan in cooperation with the marketing committee and the Chamber
Executive. This person shall be responsible for working within the marketing budget, develop
and sell co-operative advertising packages, manage all website marketing activities, co-ordi-
nate artwork, approve proofs of advertising and ensure publication of advertisements, prepare
and coordinate media releases and kits, be responsible for public relations, provide assistance
with grant applications, undertake an annual membership survey, work with the Chamber
Office manager on projects , and attend meetings as required. Occassional evening meetings
are required. This individual will work from their own location and be responsible for their
telephone and internet expenses. Full job description will be provided.
Pay Range $13.50- $15.00 per hour
20 Hours per week
