(46-48) OHA Junior D rankings lyroadliatifill EXETER — The latest OHA junior D rankings have been released with Hagersville ranked first overall as of Nov. 18 with Mitchell in second place. The Exeter Hawks are ranked in sixth place while the Lucan Irish hold down tenth. Hagersville is ranked second in win- ning percentage, first in goals for; third in goals against and first in combined goals for/goals against. The Hawks are ranked sixth in win- ning percentage, seventh in goals for; fourth in goals against and seventh combined. The Irish are ranked eighth in both winning percentage and goals for. They are eleventh in goals against and ninth in the combined goals for/goals against category. The next rankings will be done Dec. 2. Lucan Biddulph receives award LUCAN BIDDULPH — Deputy Mayor of Lucan Biddulph Perry Caskanette shared with Lucan Biddulph council on Monday night, an achievement by the Township of Lucan Biddulph. The township was honoured with a Platinum Award from the 2005 Ontario Waste Minimization Awards ceremony in Stratford recently. They are being recog- nized for excellence and their commitment to a sustainable envi- ronment. This came to a sur- prise to Mayor Tom McLaughlin and some of the councillors. McLaughlin said he thinks Lucan Biddulph is just in the middle for the different townships but believes they are doing well provincially.
