Capsule Comments

Read the labels on medications carefully before
taking them. Many, many over the counter (OTC)
remedies have the pain -reliever acetaminophen
in them. This medication is found in cold/flu
tablets, some allergy formulas, sinus pain
medications and nighttime liquid cold medications. If you are also
taking acetaminophen in regular tablets, you could be getting too
much.
If you have congested sinuses, it might help by propping yourself
up on pillows to sleep. Gravity helps promote drainage and you'll
sleep and feel better.
You will be hearing more about antiangiogenic drugs soon. These
are the first drugs to reverse age related macular degeneration, a
disease that blurs the central vision of the eyes and can lead to
blindness. Doctors are very excited about this discovery because it
allows people to maintain their vision and even improve it. There is
one on the market already and another to come soon.
Marijuana in an oral spray is on the market in Canada. It contains
extracts from the actual marijuana plant. It is sprayed under the
tongue or on the side of the cheek. It's prescription only and could
help reduce the pain on those suffering with multiple sclerosis.
