GRAND BEND — The annual Kause For Kids event
on the weekend was another big success according to
organizers.
The parade organized by Ontario's West Coast
Riders, raises money and toys for local charities help-
ing children with special needs.
Numbers raised were not available at press time, but
one of the event organizers, John Relouw said it was a
lot bigger than last year.
Relouw said 250 motorcycles were in Grand Bend
this year, compared to 200 last year.
After the hundreds of motorcycles decorated in vari-
ous themes were shown off, riders headed out for the
parade through Grand Bend.
Relouw added bikers are coming from greater dis-
tances than ever to attend the parade, with riders from
Michigan, Windsor, Chatham, Sarnia attending.
"It went very well," said Relouw.
