Jesilyn Butler, Grade 8 Exeter Public School What is a present... A person caring for you. A sign of respect. It feels better to give than receive. After you open them you should say thank you. Before you make a list for Santa so he knows what presents to get you. Presents are nice to get, but you can't be too greedy. That's what a present is. Sincerely Cody Clarke A Holy Christmas Mathias Memmel Grade 7 Precious Blood School Mary and Joseph, to Bethlehem, rode on a donkey. The Holy family, in a stable, found shelter, Jesus, our Lord, on earth, was born Christmas day, Wise men, at the lowly manger, arrived bearing gifts Santa and Christmas Devon Grade 3 Zurich Public School Once upon a time there was a girl named Shikeysha. Her mom and dad were nice. She believed in Santa. Shikeysha went with her dad to get a Christmas tree. He took his axe and went to the forest. Shikeysha watched him cut down the tree. It looked really hard. When they came back they also brought wood for the fire. The girl sat down and had some hot drinks. They sat by the fire pit and ate some marshmallows. After, they went to bed. On Christmas day she heard jingle bells. She got out of bed. She went down stairs and saw Santa. Hello Santa "shhhhh!" said Santa. "Why?" she said. "I don't want your family to wake up ok, so please go back to bed." said Santa. Shikeysha said "ok" and went back to bed. In the morning she went down stairs and saw presents under the tree. The End. We also get to have two weeks off of school but I really miss Mr. Brennan, I get over it. I remember Jesus who died on the cross at recess sometimes. We got candy canes from Miss Fox. We got to eat them right away. So that is what Christmas means to me at school. DEAR SANTA Dear Santa, I am waiting patiently for Christmas, because I know that you will make it through our patio door, since we don't have a chim- ney.
