On Christmas day I had
awaken from a beautiful
sleep in my soft, warm
bed. I could hear the pots
and pans banging and I
knew my mother was
cooking the Christmas
meal. I could almost taste
grandma's soft, warm
chocolate chip cookies.
The scent of my mother's
dressing filled the air.
You almost felt like you
were right there eating it.
After we ate I could hard-
ly wait to open gifts, you
could hear my truck go

How are you doing? I
am fine. Are your elves
being naughty? I am nine
and the youngest of four. I
have two brothers and
one sister. I also have a
pet dog named Abby.
My hobbies are reading,
playing piano and danc-
ing.
For Christmas I would
like books, books and
more books. I also would
like a bratz doll.
My wishes are for others
that do not get to cele-
brate Christmas that they
will just get one little
thing. And I hope they
will be happy.
P.S. My dog really needs a
new bed.

How To
Decorate a
Christmas Tree
Sheridyn Van Altena,
Grade 2
Huron Centennial
First you get your
Christmas tree. Then you
set it up. Now you get the
ornaments. Next take
them out of the box. Put
them on the tree. Finally
your Christmas tree is
done.
