My mom just got back from the grocery store and my sister was baking Christmas cookies, choco- late chip, oatmeal. I was helping my brothers put up the tree decorations and the little snowman lights on the tall green tree. I got to put up the gold and white angel. Our house is always filled with Christmas spirit. That night I thought I caught a glimpse of Santa. That morning when I got up, the tree was filled with presents and I got every- thing I wanted. I'll never forget the Christmas when I thought I saw Santa. Dear Santa Melanie, Grade 4/5 Biddulph Central If you have been watch- ing me I have been a good little girl.
