His favourite things were: Xs and Os. Cross country Terry Fox run and Rock Star Music! One day he awoke! He saw that he was in a tunnel and he was scared by a green thing! The Grinch he said in his mind the Grinch read his mind. He ran so he could steal Christmas gifts. OH NO he cried! The grinch went to all the towns and stole the pre- sents of parents and chil- dren. THAT GRINCH he said as loud as possible. He was so mad he went up to the top of a moun- tain he spied the Grinch and got the presents back to the children. The End. Meaning of Christmas Shania Oke, Grade 5 Usborne Central Presents, presents and more presents. Guess again. The true meaning of Christmas is celebrat- ing with family, having fun, and my favorite rea- son - Jesus' birthday. That's why Christmas is a very special day. On December 25th, Jesus lay for the first time in Mary and Joseph's hands. It was one of the most excit- ing days for the three wisemen, Mary, Joseph, the angels and all of the animals. So kids do you still think Christmas is all about presents? I don't. Christmas Cole Martin, Grade 3 Mt. Carmel School Santa says Ho! Ho! Ho! Santa rides in a sleigh. Santa comes at Christmas.
