My favourite
Christmas memory
would be my Christmas
this year because I
don't remember getting
our Christmas tree
when I was younger.
This year we got a
Christmas tree from a
place near Ilderton and
they gave us hot apple
cider and we got to
roast marshmallows.
We cut down our own
tree. It's like a big
Griswald tree. I hope
we do this every year.

My favourite
Christmas memory is
when I got my Barbie
house from my mom
and dad when I was
five or six years old. It
is my most favorite toy
and I still love to play
with it. It is in my room.

I wanted something
but my mother said
there was none left and
then surprised me
with it.

Grade 5
Zurich Public School
My favourite
Christmas memory is
spending time with my
relatives from far away
and one of them would
be just this past
Saturday when I had
the Steckle family
Christmas and I got to
see my new second
baby cousins. We had a
big dinner of chicken,
mashed potatoes and
corn and other vegeta-
bles and I love my
Grandma's corn
because she lathers it
with brown butter.

My absolute favorite
Christmas memory
would have to be when
I play out in the snow
with all of my cousins.
We would play tag and
have plenty of snowball
fights. Sometimes we
would get a little com-
petitive but it was
always fun. This is my
favourite Christmas
memory.

Can you imagine trees without snow?
Can you imagine the world without glow?
Can you imagine Santa without love?
Can you imagine...
Can you imagine December without
Christmas?
Can you imagine snow without white?
Can you imagine...
Getting without the joy of giving?

GRADE 3 -- HURON CENTENNIAL
Dear Santa Claus,
Hello Santa how is the North Pole? How
are the elves? I hope you are getting your
wish list ready for other children. How is
Mrs. Claus? How is Rudolph? Are you lac-
tose intolerant? I am.
Well this year 1 asked for something but
for now don't be getting all upset about me
because I don't want the things 1 ask for. I
don't want any thing and if I did get some-
thing I would like a; 1) Maplelea doll
named Taryn and the vest and backpack
that goes with her. But I don't care about
presents, I just care about being together at
Christmas.
I will have cookies and some milk and
maybe a letter. See you or not on
Christmas Eve. I will try to be a good girl
until Christmas day. Your trying hardest
girl, Taryn
