3111 head of cattle, 863 lambs and goats.
Summary
Tuesday
The fed steers and heifers sold steady. The choice
steers and heifers sold 90 - 94 with sales to 100.50.
Second cut sold 87. 90. with the cows selling $2 - $3
higher.
Thursday
Veal sold $5 lower. Lambs on a steady market.
Sheep sold $5 - $10 higher and the Goats sold $10 -
$20 higher.
Friday
Calves and Yearlings sold on a steady market.
Steers
There were 485 steers on offer.
Eight steers consigned by Murray Johnston, Bluevale
averaging 1381 lbs. sold for an average of 94.34 with
five char steers averaging 1393 lbs sold for 94.50 to
Ryding Regency.
Fifteen steers consigned by Ron & Brian Tulloch,
Meaford, averaging 1234 lbs sold for an average of
91.46 with sales to 100.50.
Ian Johnston, Brussels consigned four steers averag-
ing 1371 lbs sold for an average of 90.93 with a gold
steer weighing 1380 lbs selling for 92.75 to Ryding
Regency.
Fourteen steers consigned Schmidt Brook Farms
Inc., Woodstock averaging 1569 lbs sold for an aver-
age of 90.48 with a limo steer weighing 1565 lbs sold
92.25 to Dominion Meat Packers.
Twelve steers consigned by Aden Brubacher,
Listowel, averaging 1506 lbs sold for 90.23 with a limo
steer weighing 1440 lbs sold to F.A.B. Meat Products
Inc. for 95.50.
James Gingerich, St. Clements, consigned 31 steers
averaging 1443 lbs sold for an average of 90.22 with a
limo steer weighing 1465 lbs sold for 92.25 to
Dominion Meat Packers.
Thirty nine steers consigned by Cunningham Farms,
Lucan averaging 1610 lbs sold for an average of 89.18
with a char steer weighing 1560 lbs sold to Dominion
Meat Packers for 92.50.
Fifteen steers consigned by Walter Nicholson,
Monkton averaging 1525 lbs sold for an average of
89.15 with a sim steer weighing 1435 lbs selling to
F.A.B. Meat Products Inc for 94.
Eleven steers consigned by Ivan Weber, Paisley aver-
aging 1375 lbs sold for an average of 88.87 with sales
to 92.
Fourteen steers consigned by Mike Drost, Staffa
averaging 1519 lbs sold for an average of 88.92 with a
limo steer weighing 1455 lbs selling to F.A.B. Meat
Products Inc for 93.75.

There were 410 heifers on offer.
Two blk heifers consigned by Laken & Hallie
McArter, Exeter averaging 1335 lbs selling to Ryding
Regency for 96.50.
Garritt Vincent, Wingham consigned a limo heifer
weighing 1300 lbs selling to Ryding Regency for 95.
Five limo heifers consigned by Lewington Farms,
Brussels averaging 1263 lbs selling for an a average of
93.60 with one weighing 1270 lbs selling to Norwich
Packers for 93.75.

Livestock Sales traded on a
good demand on all classes of
cattle. A good offering of cows
sold active at stronger prices at
our bred cow and stocker sale.
Bred cows sold steady accord-
ing to quality light stockers
were steady, heavier stockers a
little easier. Holstein bull
calves sold strong at prices
$50-$75 higher.
