Hymn Tyme gives to Habitat
Hensall home cheque — Many people from the Exeter and area community gathered
for the 17th and final South Huron Hymn Tyme at the Exeter United church Nov. 26.
Several Christmas songs were sung including "Joy To The World," "Away in a Manger" and
"Silent Night" when everyone in the church held up little lights given at the beginning of
the service.A $940 cheque was also donated to the newest Habitat for Humanity Hensall
home.Above from left are volunteers JerryTraquair, Chuck Mallette,A1 Hoggarth, Lois
Hayter, Hensall Habitat homeowner Jennifer Walker who will move into the home with
her two children Katherine and Adam and Rev. Bob Degraw who has led Hymn Tyme for
the past two years.Absent from photo are Glen Hayter and Janice and GaryAlderdice.
Below is Grand Bend performer Bev Kobe entertaining the crowd. Hymn Tyme might be
scheduled once again next year but it will not be led by Degraw. (photos/Nina Van Lieshout)
