3748 head of cattle, 578 lambs and goats.
Summary
Tuesday
The fed steers and heifers sold $2 higher. The choice
steers and heifers sold 90 - 94 with sales to 99.25.
Second cut sold 87 -90 with the cows selling $1 - $2
higher.
Thursday: Veal sold on a steady market. Lambs good
active trade. Sheep and goats sold on a strong active
trade.
Calves sold on a steady market while yearlings sold $2
- $3 higher.
Friday: Vacc sale saw the calves and yearlings sell on
a strong active trade.
Steers: William M. Bauman of Elmira, consigned 14
steers averaging 1432 lbs, selling for an average of
88.33. With five red steers averaging 1413 lbs, selling to
FAB Meat Products for 96.85.
Aden Brubacher of Listowel, consigned 13 steers
averaging 1525 lbs, selling for an average of 91.80.
With two limo steers averaging 1475 lbs, selling to
Dominion Meat Packers for 96.25.
Jim Howatt of Londesboro, consigned 31 steers aver-
aging 1470 lbs, selling for an average of 93.58. With
one blk steer weighing 1440 lbs, selling for 95.
Willard B. Martin of Drayton, consigned nine steers
averaging 1514 lbs, selling for an average 91.46. With
one limo steer weighing 1470 lbs, selling to FAB Meat
