The choice steers and heifers sold 90 - 94 with sales to 99.25. Second cut sold 87 -90 with the cows selling $1 - $2 higher. Thursday: Veal sold on a steady market. Lambs good active trade. Sheep and goats sold on a strong active trade. Calves sold on a steady market while yearlings sold $2 - $3 higher. Friday: Vacc sale saw the calves and yearlings sell on a strong active trade. Steers: William M. Bauman of Elmira, consigned 14 steers averaging 1432 lbs, selling for an average of 88.33. With five red steers averaging 1413 lbs, selling to FAB Meat Products for 96.85. The market at Denfield Livestock Sales traded on a strong demand at prices $3-4 higher on all classes of cattle with the fancy cattle bringing premium prices. American type cattle traded strong, cows traded active at prices $2 high- er, stockers steady, holstein bull calves a little stronger.
