At the Granton -Wesley United Church on Sun., Nov. 19, Pastor Paul Vollick led the service and the message was entitled 'Go to the Source'. The scripture readings were from 1st Samuel one and Mark 13. The Christ Candle was lit by Adam Dodds and Andrew Herbert gave the Minute for Mission. The Ministry of Music by the choir, was `Jesus, What a beautiful name'. The theme of the children's time was `That's not fair'. A reminder of the Nativity Scene Weekend on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 24 and 25. At St. Paul's Anglican Church in Kirkton on Sun., Nov. 19, Rev. Dalice Sim celebrated the Holy Eucharist. The message was about finding new life in the everyday chaos of living. Bill Schaefer read the lessons. Clandeboye W.I. Clandeboye Women's Institute held their semi- annual dessert euchre at St. James hall, Clandeboye on Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 14. President Betty McIntyre welcomed everyone and directed the program. Prizes for lone hands were awarded to June Mangara and Marilyn Dixon, for high scores to Muriel Payne and Margaret Masterson, and for low scores to Marilyn Lee and Ellen Thomson.
