SH Tyke Red 3 versus Lucan
Green 5 goals
Goals: Bradley Jones
Assists: Lucas Bowers,
Michael Bristow, Joel
Denotter, Megan Morrissey,
Curtis Oude Voshaar, and
Colin Regier.
Comments: The South Huron
Sabres played an excellent
game. Bradley Jones lead the
team in scoring getting the
first hat trick of the year.
Bradley's goals were assisted
by Lucas Bowers, Michael
Bristow, Joel Denotter, Megan
Morrissey, Curtis Oude
Voshaar, and Colin Regier.
Strong defense from Trevor
Mellin, Michael Bristow, and
Curtis Oude Voshaar kept
Lucan away from our net.
Strong Lucan defence stopped
the breakaway efforts of
Megan Morrisey, Colin Regier
and Jacob Partridge. The end
to end action throughout the
game made this a great game
for both the players and the
fans. Great job Sabres!

Gold medal - On Nov. 5 the Saugeen Track and Field Club Masters
Team of Jeff Barrett of Owen Sound, Marvin Bauman of Guelph, Ken
Gosleigh of Exeter, John Kaandorp of Allenford and Jason Weppler of
Shallow Lake narrowly defeated the Newmarket Huskies team by seven
seconds to win the Provincial Masters eight kilometre Cross Country
Championships at Sunnybrook Park in Toronto. In masters cross coun-
try, it is the aggregate time, not the positions, of the runners that is
used to calculate team champions. This is a first ever win for the STFC
Masters group, as last year Saugeen was second to the
Huskies.Gosleigh was third in the 35-39 age group in 29:13, while
Bauman was sixth in 29:28. Kaandorp was third in the 40-45 age class
in 28:55.The next race for the team is the Provincial Masters five kilo-
metre championships in Brockville Nov. 19. (photo/submitted)
