THIS RECIPE IS ONE I USE IN MY CHRISTMAS BAKING AND IT IS DELICATE LOOKING AND I LOVE THE TASTE. TRY IT TODAY! 1 cup butter 1/2 white sugar 1 tsp vanilla 2 cup flour I cup coconut 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips melted with 2 tsp shortening Cream butter and sugar well and then add the flour, vanilla and coconut, and mix well. Shape into balls and put on a greased cookie sheet. Press with fork dipped in milk to slightly flatten the cookie. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes. Dip in the melted chocolate and shortening after cooled and place on a piece of waxed paper to harden. Store cookies in the freezer in a sealed container with wax paper between the layers. Great!
