Sherwoods roll over Pirates 9-5
HENSALL - The Hensall
Sherwoods scored three times in
each period against the visiting
Goderich Pirates Nov. 4 in Hensall
to roll to a 9-5 win.
The victory gives Hensall a record
of 4-2-0 for 8 points and keeps
them close in the tight race for first
in the south division.
Clinton leads the division with 12
points with Lucan one behind and
Tavistock in third with 10 points.
The teams traded the lead several
times in a wide open first period as
they fired five goals with the
Sherwoods ending the period lead-
ing 3-2.
Chris Kennedy, Jeremy Geoffrey
and Jeff Glover notched goals for
Hensall who added three more in
the second period for a 6-4 lead.
David Gray and Jeremy
VanBergen fired one each while
Geoffrey added his second of the
night .
The Sherwoods put the game
away in the third with three more
from Nick Regier, VanBergen and
Henny Pfaff for the 9-5 win.
Hensall has a pair of games this
weekend starting Friday night
when they are in Wingham at 8
p.m.
Hensall will be at home Saturday
night to face Lucan at 7:30 p.m.
