Irene and Helen Wyatt presented the program when Irene led in prayer and Helen read the scripture James 2:14-26 about faith without deeds. They demonstrated it with a candle and a match as non- functional, but once used together can achieve a pur- pose and last a long time. The same is true for one's life and faith by joining action and faith together in God's work here on earth. Everyone sang I Am Here Lord and formed into small groups to discuss three questions: how as a church is faith shown by actions, are there other ways church members can live out their faith, and name some of the ways in which individuals can live out their faith by their actions? After discussion, Helen closed the program with a reading. During the business, several upcoming events were reviewed including the annual beef sup- per at the Kirkton-Woodham Community Centre on Nov. 5. After closing with prayer, everyone enjoyed cake and ice cream in honour of Marion Thomson's birthday. St. Paul's Anglican Church At St. Paul's Anglican Church in Kirkton on Sun., Oct. 8, Rev.
