I'm sure all those who were at the Memories Historic Fashion Show at the Zurich Complex on Oct. 14 will agree it was just wonderful and certain- ly another highlight of the 150th Sesquicentennial cele- bration taking place this year. Wow! What a beautiful col- lection of original period cloth- ing from the 1881's to 1980 owned by Marion Kernighan of Komoka, Ontario that were gracefully modeled by children, women and men, both young and old from town and various places. They did a great job and looked so nice in their out- fits. The singing of songs from all the different era's were great and added a lot to the program. Even Elvis was there. Commentator, Gary Flaxbard of Kitchener along with Historian, our own Pauline Miller were both excellent and also added a special touch to the event as well as the lovely music played by Pearl -Ann Martin and Cathy Shantz of Zurich. Heather Klopp is to be com- mended on another job well done organizing this unforget- table day of memories along with all her many helpers and table hostesses, decorations committee, as the hall just looked lovely. For those wanti- ng to order a video tape of the Fashion Show let Heather Klopp know as soon as possible by e-mail.
