Chairperson Janet Gibson led in the call to worship by reading responsively with the group. Mary Duffin of St. Andrews P.C.W. and Rev. Hugh Jones on behalf of the session welcomed all those pre- sent. Area education consultant Rev. Anne Yee -Hibbs introduced the workshop 'The Sabbath,' dividing us into smaller groups for discussion. She presented a certificate of recog- nition to Caven W.M.S. who have disbanded. She was thanked by Bernice Richards and presented with a gift. Lois Horne gave us an informative book review. Following a delicious lunch put on by the host P.C.W., Motherwell Avonbank P.C.W. looked after the produce and bake sale held in the noon hour. Proceeds will go to the Jobat school in India. The Four Steps, a Southern gospel group from Stratford, got the after- noon session off to a good start. Eunice Bissett and Jean Sangster of Goderich W.M.S. took part in the devotions. Several women from Goderich dressed in humorous cos- tumes for a fashion show. The speaker for the afternoon, Saralyn Litchy, spoke on the orphan- ages she has helped with and gave a list of articles they are in need of. Saralyn was thanked by North Easthope W.M.S. and presented with a plant. Courtesies were given by Stratford Knox and the meeting closed with a hymn.
