Beta Sigma Phi benefits Wellsprings in London
By June Essery
EXETER - Beta Master Chapter of Beta
Sigma Phi sorority attended the play, West
Side Story on Sept. 20 at the Grand
Theatre. This play was performed by tal-
ented and enthusiastic London high school
students as part of London's Education

ing pictures and telling of his search for
the story behind his uncle 1st Lieut.

War II. After two years of research, he
was able to locate where his uncle's P-47
Thunderbolt plane crashed in Trois
Moins, France.
In 1994 he and his wife, Mary, visited
the site and were welcomed in the village
with a memorial ceremony. Two years
later his sister, Ruth Ann and husband
Matt Pickett visited the village and
unveiled a plaque in memory of their
uncle. The village once again held a spe-
cial ceremony and spoke with great
respect of 1st Lieut. Don Newcombe who
had died to help liberate their country.
Business
Rob was thanked by Schaefer and pre-
sented with a gift. President Pat Patterson
