Howard was an avid sportsman.
He was a member of the
Belmont Old Timers Hockey and
the Belmont and Dorchester
Minor Sports Associations. He
was active with the Ontario
Agricultural College Alumni in
Guelph. He served on the
Committee of Adjustments for
North Dorchester Township and
the Kettle Creek Conservation
Authority. Howard was a farmer
and well known in the Agri -
Business Industry. Friends may

courageous battle with cancer,
passed away peacefully with her
family at her side on September
29, 2006 at St. Marys Memorial
Hospital in her 81st year forever
to be with her cherished husband
Norm (1997). Devoted mother
of Dorothy James and her late
husband Dave, John and Marg
Johns and Steve and Johanne
Johns. Loving grandmother of
Mike Lawson and Kellie
Paterson, Mark and Vicki
Lawson, Marcy and Pete
Frehner, Matt Johns and Carly
and Andrew Johns. Dear Great-
grandmother of Russ, Nicole and
