In the first game, the Panthers played Stratford Northwestern in a one sided game. In spite of their domi- nation of the Huskies, it took 44 minutes for South Huron to open the scoring on a goal by Abbey Oke. Three minutes later, Kelly Cronyn added a second on a Keri Reschke penalty cor- ner. The final score was 2-0. In the second game of the day, the Panthers met Mitchell and finally won 5-2. It only took two min- utes for Oke to open the scoring from a Kristen Ferguson pass howev- er, Mitchell replied from the restart. The game went from end to end at a hectic pace and the Panthers went ahead when Cronyn scored at the 12 minute mark. Once again, a lapse by the South Huron defense allowed Mitchell to tie the game. Eighteen minutes into the game, Lindsay Mills scored the winner for the Panthers and 10 minutes later, Staci Miller netted after Cronyn controlled a Ferguson penalty cor- ner. Five minutes into the second half, Oke scored again after she, Miller and Ferguson strung together a number of beautiful passes. The team travelled to Mitchell on Monday to play Listowel and Mitchell. - A A -A -B - 1st Marty Mitchell 2nd Paul Gorman 3rd Ken Ready 4th Darren Mason 5th Mark Dietrich 6th Scott Burton 7th Brian Taylor 8th Cam Murray 9th Al Preece 10th Geoff Douglas 11thJohn Rudderham 12thKen Pinder 13thLes Greenlee 14thMike Skochinski 15th Cam Murray 16thMark Dietrich 17th Steve Cambell 18th John Rudderham -C-D-DD 1st Shane Pfaff 2nd Dan Mudge 3rd Ed Preszcator 4th John Geiger 5th Wayne Riddell 6th Brad Baker 7th Ron Holmes 8th Rob Kramer 9th Corey Bilcke 10thPeter Harvoort 11th 12thMike Sedlak 13thKeith Cullion 14th Cory Bilcke 15thPaul Paget 16thDan Meidinger 17th Keith Cullion 18th Corey Bilcke Skins -AA-A-B- 1 Jason Heywood 3 Jason Heywood 5 Mark Dietrich 6 John Rudderham 10 Geoff Douglas 11 Andy Geiger 15 Scott Pincombe 16 Mark Dietrich 18 Les GreenLee -C-D-DD- 1 Keith Cullion 4 John Geiger 8 Dan Mudge 15 Jim Hearn 18 John Geiger H ENSALL SEPT. 26 Shuffleboar• (5 GAMES) Marg Reichert 484 (4 Games) Ann Van Dorren 515, Bill Coleman 492, Edna Deitz 449, Harry Pennings 441, Dave Woodward 385, Doris Muir 331, Rose Regier 299, George Racey 269 Senior Men Sept 27 First Place George Tyron Jack Johnston Murray Morrison Tom McLaughlin Total Second Place Jim Campbell Don Heywood Len Veri Bill Gilfillan Total Third Place Lee Richards Al Taylor Norm Whiting Bob Coates Total Fourth Place Dick Mills Hal Snoddy Don Hord Steve Bianchi Total Fifth Place Wayne Pearce Lorne Ridout Terry Bourne Jerry Maclean Total Sixth Place Jim Russell Mike Barclay Dennis Rowe 81 83 89 89 347 88 90 83 96 357 74 86 97 101 358 78 91 91 99 359 84 92 91 98 365 92 94 92 Howard McDonald 88 Total 366 Seventh Place Barry Baynham 91 Ben Hoogenboom 85 Bill Thompson 94 Tosh Yamamoto 98 Total 368 Eighth Place (tie) Ernie Ahrens 88 Jim Pfaff 83 Doug Pearson John Parker Total Eighth Place (tie) Frank Dumont Bob Laye Jim Morrissey Dave Newton Total Tenth Place Scott Burton Ed Preszcator Mike Ward Guy Giddings Total Eleventh Place Arn Mathers 89 Rick Dumont 89 90 109 370 84 96 91 99 370 79 97 94 101 371 Don Ross Bob Clark Total Twelfth Place Jack Chipchase Bob Fletcher Bob Dobson Bill Coleman Total 98 97 373 85 91 96 105 377 Thirteen Place (tie) Joe Wilson Al Beattie Jim O'Toole Bob Forest Total 83 88 98 109 378 Thirteen Place (tie) Brian Munro 81 Don Gifford 95 Del Nixon 92 Bill Haskett 110 Total 378 Fifteenth Place Jim Hughes 94 Jim Tomlinson 88 Craig Webber 97 Gary Hackett 105 Total 384 Sixteenth Place Al Preece 83 Bill Soldan 101 Casey Zeehuisen 100 Len Fleet 111 Total 395 CTP #4 Mike Ward #7 Howard McDonald # 13 Joe Wilson #15 Wayne Pearce 1 Councilor Ward 3 HUGH McMASTERQ rautit 61 PCIPM1M 519-235-1498
