ENTRY
FOR A CONTEMPORARY FAMILY Plan No. 2-3-687 Stone accents, porch pillars and board -and -batt n details lend this design the charm of an older
craftsman -style home, but every inch of space is designed for contemporary family life. The covered main entrance leads to the unfinished areas on the
lower level and up to the living space on the main floor. Just off the foyer is a den that would make an ideal home office or could serve as a fourth
bedroom. A cupboard in the main hallway is conveniently located for coats and other outerwear. Upstairs, on the main floor, is the increasingly popular
great room, preferred by many families today over a more formal living room. This great room is particularly spacious and includes a gas fireplace with
a TV shelf above it. The kitchen features an oversize island with a raised eating bar. A sliding glass door in the adjoining dining area opens on to a large
sun deck, with steps down to the back garden. A half -wall neatly divides the dining area from the main corridor. The master suite boasts large
decorative windows and includes a four -piece en suite with a corner shower stall as well as a soaker tub. A walk-in closet provides plenty of room for
both his and her clothes. Bedrooms two and three share a three-piece bathroom with a storage area for towels. Suggestions for the unfinished areas
downstairs include future bedrooms, a recreation room with roughed -in wet bar and roughed -in plumbing for a bathroom. Space for either extra storage
or a stacked washer and dryer is provided next to the coat cupboard, and there's additional storage room under the staircase. The house measures 40
feet, 8 inches wide, and 46 feet, 10 inches deep, for a total of 1,346 square feet plus an unfinished basement. Plans for design 2-3-687 are available
for $476 (set of 5), $542 (set of 8) and $584 for a super set of 10. B.C. residents add 7% Prov. Sales Tax. Also add $25.00 for Priority courier charges
within B.C. or $45.00 outside of B.C. Please add 7% G.S.T. or 15% H.S.T. (where applicable) to both the plan price and postage charges. Our NEW 38th
Edition of the Home Plan Catalogue containing over 300 plans is available for $13.50 (includes taxes, postage and handling). Make all cheques and
