Nine members of the
Bluewater tug-of-
war club have been
competing in
Holland for the last
week against 20 dif-
ferent teams.
The club was
pullingat the TWIF
Open Championships
Sept.14-15 before
competing as Team
Canada at the TWIF
European
Championships Sept
16-17.
It has been a busy
summer for the
Bluewater club,
which has competed
at several different
events including in
Missisauga, Embro,
Cambridge, the
Canadian
Championship in
Toronto and the
Highland Games in
Fergus.
At the competition
in Toronto, the club
won the National
Championships at all
weights, including
the 600, 640, 680,
720 and catch
weight.
