Fleet Mechanic
The Bluewater Recycling Association, based in Huron Park near Exeter,
provides resource management services to more than 20 municipalities in
Southwestern Ontario, has an immediate opening for the position of Fleet
Mechanic and 3rd Year Apprentice.
Reporting to the Fleet Manager, as a Fleet Mechanic you will be a key player
in the maintenance and repairs of the Association's fleet of 32 collection
vehicles and a material recovery facility. Normal working hours are days or
afternoons (no nights or weekends). You will receive a competitive salary with
excellent benefits including a pension.
The ideal candidate will have a truck and coach mechanics license with a DZ
driver's licence. Previous experience in the solid waste industry and/or
hydraulics would be an asset. Any related experience and/or education as a
millwright, fabricator, or electronics would be an asset but is not necessary.

ACCESSIBILITY ADVISORY
COMMITTEE
The County of Huron has established an Accessibility
Advisory Committee (HCAAC) to advise the Council in
each year about the preparation, implementation and
effectiveness of its accessibility plan.
The HCAAC is made up of 12 voting members including:
7 persons with disabilities as defined in the Ontarians
with Disabilities Act, 2001, 2 persons from professional
disciplines, 1 elected official and 2 citizen representatives.
The HCAAC is supported by 5 non-voting members
including: the chair of the ODA working group, 1 person
from the County Planning Department, 1 person from the
County Social Services Department, 1 Municipal Building
Official and the County Clerk or their designate.
The County of Huron invites applications for the following
positions on the HCAAC:
• Professional Disciplines - two positions to be filled.
This Committee will have a total of four meetings per
year.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old, Canadian
citizens, and residents of Huron County. Please submit a
