HENSALL DISTRICT CO-OPERATIVE Fleet Mechanic The Bluewater Recycling Association, based in Huron Park near Exeter, provides resource management services to more than 20 municipalities in Southwestern Ontario, has an immediate opening for the position of Fleet Mechanic and 3rd Year Apprentice. Reporting to the Fleet Manager, as a Fleet Mechanic you will be a key player in the maintenance and repairs of the Association's fleet of 32 collection vehicles and a material recovery facility. Normal working hours are days or afternoons (no nights or weekends). You will receive a competitive salary with excellent benefits including a pension. The ideal candidate will have a truck and coach mechanics license with a DZ driver's licence. Previous experience in the solid waste industry and/or hydraulics would be an asset. The HCAAC is supported by 5 non-voting members including: the chair of the ODA working group, 1 person from the County Planning Department, 1 person from the County Social Services Department, 1 Municipal Building Official and the County Clerk or their designate. The County of Huron invites applications for the following positions on the HCAAC: • Professional Disciplines - two positions to be filled. This Committee will have a total of four meetings per year.
