The Times Advocate, 2006-08-16, Page 17Wednesday, August 16, 2006 Exeter Times -Advocate 17 Slogan chosen for Lucan project By Nina Van Lieshout TIMES -ADVOCATE STAFF LUCAN BIDDULPH — A representative from Response Generators, the ad agency chosen to bring forth the Lucan economic development project attended Lucan Biddulph council Aug.8. President and senior consultant Peter Watson spoke with council and the Lucan Economic Development committee regarding the slogan and design to be cho- sen for the project. Four options had been considered previously including 'Feel Right At Home,' `A Place To Call Home,' New Horizons, Traditional Values' and 'Get That Small Town Feeling.' After reviewing each slogan carefully, most agreed 'Feel Right At Home' was the best choice. Deputy Mayor Perry Caskanette says this particular slogan leaves the opportunity for expansion. Caskanette says by modifying the first word of the slogan it allows for versatility whereas the other slo- gans do not. With 'Feel Right At Home,' the possibilities are end- less says Caskanette. It can be changed to `Dine Right At Home' or 'Shop Right At Home.' After asking everyone for their opinion, most agreed with Caskanette. "It's pretty unanimous," says Mayor Tom McLaughlin.
