Coaches comments: The squad played a
solid defensive game and made the most of
their scoring chances. Outstanding effort by
defensive backs; Jake
Partridge, Craig Branderhorst, Jordan Pache
and Matthew Hagarty. A well
deserved win by a team which continues to
improve, demonstrating skills and
poise to the delight of spectators and coaches
alike. This week there was
no question that Jeff Stire and Taylor
Lightfoot should be singled out for
their efforts which contributed greatly to the
successful outcome for South
Huron.
U13 Boys LDYSL
Exeter 5 versus East Elgin Elgin 3
Coaches comments: Best team effort of the
season so far in beating the top team in the
league. Great passing and support. Strong
& steady goalkeeping, defense that did not
give up, support from midfield for both
defense and forwards and strong finishing
from the forwards to give a great team effort.

Coaches comments: Awesome goal tending
by both goalies and brilliant defending by
Jordan, Scott and Larry. The forwards
worked really hard with great passing. Well
done James, Nicole, Emily and Zoe.
Gold 0 versus Purple 1
Tough loss Gold team. You worked very well
together and your passing was amazing.
Keep up the great work.
Orange 0 versus Green 2

game. Had good scoring chances.
We just seemed to run out of steam in the
dying minutes of the game.
Purple

Exeter 6-2 loss

was overwhelmed by a strong and prepared Lucan

both Alec Speers and Jeremy Johnston. Great
hustle throughout the game by Amanda
Verbeke, and a very solid effort on team
defense, with everyone coming back to help out
when there was pressure in our end. Good
consistent passing by everyone to move the
ball. Terrific job on the throw ins and corner

Goalies: Jared Denotter and Jackson Soudant
Coaches comments: Excellent passing skills
shown by all players — well done! Both our
goalies, Jared and Jackson made wonderful
saves and helped to keep it a close score in a
very exciting game. When playing forward
positions, Brandan, Danielle, Karra and Justin
were quick and showed great determination.
Jared and Niki played superbly in mid field
with great bursts of speed just when we needed
it. Special thanks to our two U7 players who

well. Keep up the good work team!
