Breakfast in the Park planned for July 30
'Danielle Fest,' a concert featuring 15 bands south of Dashwood on Saturday,
raised about $300 after expenses for the Kids Help Phone line. Danielle Patterson,
below left, came up with the idea after hearing how long it took Kids Help to
respond to youths. The concert, featuring local bands as well as those from as far
away as Kingston, was held at the home of South Huron District High School stu-
dent Danielle Hurman,

ents helped out. Music
included metal, punk
and acoustic. Patterson
said she is pleased with
how the day went and
is considering holding
another concert next
year. She said about 150
people attended. She
also thanked friends,
families and local busi-
nesses for helping out.
