Goalies: Ron, Travis, and Jordan
Coaches comments: Awesome play by everybody
lets keep up the hard work.
Passing is really improving.
Purple 2 versus Green 2
Goal scorers: Brian Hope and Taylor McCann
Coaches comments: Good effort by all. Congrats
to Taylor for getting her first goal of the season. It
was hot hot hot on the field and the little guys
pulled one out in the second half to tie game
down two goals. Good effort by all the girls in
Thursdays game. The boys worked hard through-
out the whole game.
Future games: July 20
U9
U9 Gold
Gold 0 versus Blue 2
Coaches comments: Great effort from the gold
team, especially in the second half.
U9 Green
Coaches comments: The Green team played a
very good game considering the heat and the
lack of 'fresh legs' on the sidelines. Excellent
running was seen by Amber Taylor, John
Hartman and Terry Hartman. Bradley Regier
saved many goals when he was playing net and
with Raymond Delbridge's strong kicks Leah
Sterczer was able to get the ball to the oppo-
nent's end. The excellent defensive work by
Nicole Millar helped forwards Milian Robinson
and Jared Welsh to make great plays. The green
team has nicely progressed at passing and work-
ing together.
Orange
Exeter 2 versus Parkhill 1
Goals: Kean Dwyer, Matthew Smillie
Assists: Jacob Hrudka
Goalkeepers: Matthew Smillie, Adam Tait
Coaches comments: Lots of sweat from all the
hard work! There where many close chances for
Harriet, Sara & Kasie. Great defence by Ellen
and Lauren.
Future games: July 20 at 7:15 p.m. vs. Exeter
Team 3 at High School Field 3.
Purple
July 13
Purple 4-1 win
Goals: Morgan McCann (2), Fraser Fulton, Evan
Hardie
Goalies: Jeremy Johnston, Alec Speers
Play of the game: : A terrific defensive effort by
Stephanie Corbett to get back and stop a great
scoring chance deep in our own end in the sec-
ond half.
Coaches comments: Everyone really helped out
well on defense tonight. Great job helping out
our goalkeepers!! A really good team effort
tonight with some great passes, strong, consis-
tent defense and some really good hard shots on
net. Well done everyone!!!
Future games: July 20 at 7:15 at West Williams
Park
Red
July 13
Exeter 8 versus Grand Bend (#3) 1
Goals: Cullen Mercer (5) and Danielle Smith (3)
Goalies: Jackson Soudant and Jared Denotter
Coach's comments: Excellent game played with
everyone playing well despite the very hot weath-
er. Cullen got our team off to a good start with
the first three goals and then added two more in
the second half. Great determination shown by
Danielle who never gave up and scored three
goals — way to go Danielle! Justin showed superb
use of the body for gaining control of the ball.
Jackson, Jared and Niki put forth great team
effort with good passing skills. Owen and Karra
were fabulous defenders staying alert in the heat.
Thanks to Lisa DenOtter for filling in as coach at
the beginning of the game.
Royal Blue 2 versus Gold 0
Goals: Megan Dalrymple, Kevin Vanderlaan

Coaches comments: Very well played game by
