The choice steers and heifers sold 96-100 sales to 104.75. Second cut sold 92-96. Cows sold on a fully steady market. Thursday The veal sold $2-5 higher. The lambs sold $5-10 higher. The sheep sold $10 higher. Friday Calves and yearlings sold on a good active solid trade. Steers There were 150 steers on offer. The annual event is a provincial program spearheaded by the Ontario Heritage Foundation. It was locally organized by Heritage and Cultural Partnership with the help of Huron East and Bluewater municipalities and the town of Goderich.The two day event included close to 100 stops in different towns, attracting people from across Ontario. The market at Denfield Livestock sales traded on a strong demand on the fancy fed cattle with a light offering due to the holiday week. A good offering of cows sold active at strong prices. Holstein Bull Calves were strong, sows steady. Gord Hardy, Lucan sold 10 steers average weight 1311 average price 97.50 to a high of 104.50 pur- chased by Norwich Packers.
