'Wet n' Wacky' week
EXETER — Last week Playground got off to a very
successful start!
Our first week was packed with new and familiar
crafts and games for all the children to enjoy.
Congratulations to all those who mastered the art of
hoola dancing with us. Tomorrow morning (July 13)
is our annual costume parade, so don't forget your
costumes!
Just a reminder to bring towels and bathing suits
everyday. This is especially important to remember
on Wednesdays as we go swimming in the Exeter
pool. Also, because next week's theme is 'Wet N' Wacky' Week, we
will be going to the pool both Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon. We
will also participate in fun water related activities such as building
sand castles and blowing bubbles.
Thurs., July 20 will be a special treat as the children will get a
chance to `cream the leaders' as part of a water relay. So come on out
for the water fun!
Trips this year include:
• Bingeman's, Fri., July 21;
• African Lion Safari, Thurs., Aug. 3;
• Fleetway Bowling/Pioneer Village, Thurs., Aug. 17;
We fill the trips on a first come, first serve basis so sign up as soon
as possible. To sign up for a trip, or if we can answer any questions,
feel free to contact us at 235-2361.
