I WAS RAISED TO ENJOY JELLIED SALADS. I LOVE TO TRY
DIFFERENT COMBINATIONS AND LOVE TO MAKE A JELLIED
SALAD BECAUSE YOU CAN DO IT THE DAY BEFORE, IT ADDS
COLOR AND VARIETY TO A BUFFET AND THEY CAN BE
DIFFERENT EVERY TIME WITH ADDING FUN THINGS LIKE,
CHEESE, MARSHMALLOWS, CELERY, PEPPERS, FRUIT ETC. TRY
THIS EXCELLENT SALAD USING EITHER ORANGE OR
RASPBERRY JELLY, BOTH EQUALLY AS GOOD!
BANANA ORANGE SALAD
I small package of orange jelly powder
1 cup boiling water
3/4 cup frozen orange juice concentrate
Heat and stir over low heat to dissolve jelly powder
1/2 250 grams cream cheese
14 oz. can crushed pineapple well drained
2 mashed bananas
10 oz can mandarin oranges, well drained
Mash the cream cheese with the pineapple and then add the
bananas and orange segments. Add to jelly and chill till
syrupy.
1 cup whipping cream (whipped till stiff)
Mix into chilled jelly and chill in serving bowl. Very nice!

JENISH HOUSE DESIGN LIMITED SENTRY?
PICTURE -BOOK COTTAGE Plan No. 1-2-604 This charming two-bedroom home, with its wood detailing and steeply pitched roof, brings to mind a cozy
picture -book cottage. Larger than it looks, thanks to the unfinished basement included in the plans, this home is particularly suited for property that
slopes to the rear. Beyond the entry, covered for protection in inclement weather, is the foyer, with a convenient coat cupboard. From here, a half -wall
opens up a view of the great room, with large windows looking out to a covered deck and the back garden. Flowing from the great room are the dining
room and the kitchen, separated by a raised eating bar. Thanks to the built-in fireplace, the great room will be a popular family gathering spot during
cool weather. The bayed -out dining room features sliding doors on to a covered deck, the perfect spot for al fresco meals during the summer. The
kitchen is planned for comfort and efficiency, with a U-shaped counter configuration and a pantry. The generously sized master bedroom features a
walk-in closet The ensuite has a double basin, as well as a corner shower and a soaker tub. The linen closet is conveniently located nearby. The second
bedroom, overlooking the front garden, features an extra -wide window sill, The laundry room has a roomy storage closet for off-season gear, as well as
a handy wash -tub. There's access from the laundry room to the double garage, which is roomy enough for a workshop area. Exterior finishes include
board -and -batten vertical siding, accented by square pilasters with river -rock bases. River rock accents also flank the mullioned window at the front of
the home. This home measures 46 feet wide and 58 feet, six inches deep, for a total of 1,579 square feet, excluding the basement. Plans for design 1-
2-604 are available for $554 (set of 5), $631 (set of 8) and $680 for a super set of 10. B.C. residents add 7% Prov. Sales Tax. Also add $25.00 for
Priority charges within B.C. or $45.00 outside of B.C. Please add 7% G.S.T. or 15% H.S.T. (where applicable) to both the plan price and Priority
charges. Our 38th Edition of the Horne Plan Catalogue containing over 300 plans is available for $13.50 (includes taxes, postage and handling). Make all
