POLICE BRIEFS
Call from resident
nabs impaired
driver
EXETER — An Exeter resident who
contacted Huron OPP June 16 helped
nab an impaired driver. The concerned
citizen obtained a license plate and
description of a vehicle heading south on
Hern Line in South Huron. The vehicle
was driving erratically all over the road
endangering traffic travelling in both
directions. The information was relayed
to officers in Middlesex County who
located the same vehicle at the intersec-
tion of Highway 23 and Highway 7 in
Lucan Biddulph. A 46 -year-old London
woman was arrested and charged with
one count of impaired operation of a
motor vehicle and one count of driving a
motor vehicle with more then 80mg of
alcohol. The woman provided two breath
samples that were analyzed and found to
be twice the legal limit of 80 mg. She will
attend London Provincial Court Aug. 16.
Golf course theft
LUCAN BIDDULPH — Two purses were
stolen from a vehicle at the Fox Golf
Course in Lucan Biddulph June 17 from
a parking lot.

POLICE BRIEF
Exeter man charged with mischief
Exeter — On June 18 the victim was in his residence on Edward Street in Exeter.
The victim was befriended by a male party several years ago, the friendship turned
sour and as a result the male friend was issued a trespass notice not to attend the
residence. On this date the former friend forced the door to the residence open,
entering the property and confronting the victim. A 31 -year-old man of Exeter was
arrested and released to attend Exeter Provincial Court Aug. 31, facing one count of
mischief and one count of breach of probation.
